Time Machine: Music We Listened To (August 2013)

Every Breath You Take music we listened toIt’s time for a look back at what music we listened to and what was popular in August 10, 20, 30, 40 and even 50 years ago, and dare I say but it’s about as dodgy a month of music as I’ve seen. Normally I’d pick out a couple of non-chart toppers that I also liked, but after wading through a few years I was so depressed I gave up…

The only one that really jumps out at me is Every Breath You Take by The Police.

And so to all the number ones that appeared in the charts for the month…

Time Machine will look at some of the songs we were listening to in this month 10, 20, 30 and even 40 years ago. There will be good, bad and indifferent songs brought forth from the UK, USA and Australian charts, but I’m pretty sure at least one of them will bring back memories.
