Here’s a new one I recently discovered from my old favourite podcast Sound Opinions – the video below is pretty stripped back version of the song I love but the album version of the track that you can find on the Spotify list is what really got me. The band are an indie mob from New Jersey that blend a lot of Americana into their sound. Interestingly, they’ve been around since 2010 when they released their first EP called Mixtape One. Their first full album, Meridian, came in 2012, and the excellently named Everything So Far followed in 2015. The past couple of years have seen two more albums, 2016’s Cardinal, and this year’s Elsewhere. Not much else to say but they are well worth exploring more and keeping an eye on.
