Shuffle Aces: Dropkick Murphys – Tessie can I say? The Red Sox victory in Game 6 of the ALCS against the Detroit Tigers yesterday was a thing of beauty. DKM have performed at Fenway three times: First in 2004 when Tessie became a big hit, then in the deciding game of the 2007 ALCS. Latest performance? Yesterday’s game 6!

May they continue to be a good luck charm!! After watching the game yesterday I just had to watch this great clip of them performing Tessie – one that every Red Sox fan appreciates!

And here’s their performance of the national anthem – in classic Dropkick Murphys style – and Shipping Up to Boston from yesterday’s game in case you didn’t see it.

You can find all the Shuffle Ace tracks – including this one – on a Spotify playlist here.

Shuffle Aces is a series of posts that highlights a song of the week that “shuffling” has brought forth. With all the streaming services it’s not just an iPod on shuffle mode that we use to discover new stuff, but the principle remains the same: hit play and wait to see what gems come forth.
